Weather Watch (1): Mumbles, Swansea, Wales, UK

'Now we were snow-blind travellers...'

Dylan Thomas

The air filled with flakes of sleet.

The sky darkened.

The snowstorm abated, leaving a blanket of fog.

The storm cloud began to recede.

Soon there were silhouettes on the seashore.

P.S. You can read about the current Swansea literary scene here, in my Land&Lit Postcard about the latest edition of The Seventh Quarry (ed. Peter Thabit Jones).

Lovely atmospheric photographs of the Mumbles area, Caroline. Looks very cold there.

Re my meme - you may well ask - I did originally intend it that everyone should post on Friday - but most people seem to have done the posting early. So I shall probably do Friday's post on the words. If you have any you have called to mind, I would appreciate them a s a p. Thanks

Dramatic and wonderful photos Caroline. Top ones brought the Loch Ness Monster to mind, and in my work: folding mirrors and the greenygrey creation myth!
